I like...
Kids:: Not in a creepy way, but in the way you want to show them the world because they are perfect souls who need some good direction.
"A persons a person no matter how small" - Dr. Seuss
Hot chocolate:: Most college students might want to down 5 cups of coffee or more a day, and I saw to heck with the caffeine, bring me some sugar! Along with this, is my love for cute adorable mugs, which makes drinking a warm drink on a chilly day even more enjoyable.
Dogs and cats:: I can't ever decide if I'm a dog or a cat person. I like them both. Some days, I like my dog better and some days I like my cat better, but my love for dogs and cats fills a large majority of my heart.
Winter:: Yes, I'm one of those weirdos who likes winter and hate the summer. I love to bundle up in a big parka and a scarf and venture out into the negative weather. I like the clothes for this season, I like the holidays and decorations surrounding this season, and of course, I was also a winter baby. I can't stand the heat, nor do I ever want to have to wear shorts again.
Clean sheets:: There is nothing better than jumping into bed after a long, productive (or not) day, and smelling the fresh smell of clean sheets. Not to mention, I love how tightly made the bed is after putting clean sheets on the bed.
Mizzou:: I come from a long line of yucky jayhawks, but I, I am a big giant Tiger. Hear me roar. I'm an Elementary Education student at the University of Missouri, and I can honestly say, I picked the best school out there. Our campus is drop dead gorgeous, and hey, we have a legitimate bug museum on campus. Just a sidenote, I absolutely positively hate all insects, even the lady bugs and butterflies. But, still pretty cool, eh?
Crafting:: For anyone reading or browsing this little spot on the web of mine, you probably already know this is a wonderful place dedicated to the semester long journey of my art and my learning of the arts. When I think about the kind of art I like, I immediately think of crafts. You know, handmade, recycled, Hobby Lobby going, glue using, Pinterest looking, crafts. But this semester, I'm going to learn what art really is, and at the end, I'll go ahead and tell you my take.
Candles:: I love the smell of an old burnt down candle. It adds some warm light to the room, and of course the subtle scent. The thing is, I wish I could hide them. I can't stand clutter, and these babies take up room on my coffee table and counters! Sheesh!
Laughing:: Especially tiny kiddo giggles, but who doesn't.
So, come follow me on my adventure into the mysterious world of "the arts." It's sure to be interesting, and hey, you might even learn a thing or two!
